Married Richard Bugg in 1989 and had her first child Elyssia in 1992, James in 1996 and Oliver in 1999.
1982
Studied Chechetti Ballet at Rosebud Ballet School from age 4 – 7 years.
R.A.D grades and Major Elementary Certificate under Miss Peggy Sager/Mt Eliza Ballet School from 8 – 17 years.
Attended Hilary Debden Ballet School and the National Theatre Ballet School during 1980 – 1984.
1984
Completed H.S.C (Year 12) at Toorak College/Mt Eliza.
Honoured with school colours.
1985
Successfully auditioned for the Victorian College of the Arts to study a Bachelor of Arts – Dance Teaching Degree.
This three year full time course included extensive studies in – R.A.D Syllabus, Syllabus studies, Psychology, Teaching method, Practical teaching at R.A.D ballet schools and Suburban Primary Schools, Art History, Anatomy, Music, Ensemble, Kinesiology, Notation, Eurhythmics, Composition and practical classes in Classical, Modern and Character Dance.
1987
Obtained Bachelor of Arts Dance Degree (Majored in Contemporary Dance.)
During this time at the College she was taught by highly experienced and qualified teaching staff.

Dance Teachers – Ann Woolliams (Dean of Dance), Gailene Stock(was Director of Aust. Ballet School and Royal Ballet School), Dale Baker, Garry Norman (Australian Ballet Principal Dancer), Leigh Warren (Director of various Contemporary dance companies), Garth Welsh, Ann Jenner, Nanette Hassle, Eileen Rae and many other well known teachers in the dance world many of whom were professional dancers.
During this course she was examined regularly for academic studies and for final exams by a distinguished panel of Dancers, Examiners and Teachers.
1988
Diploma of Education at Hawthorn Institute
Studied and successfully completed 1 year. This course included studies in Psychology, Communication, Education and Society, Practical teaching assignments.
1988
Opened Mt Martha School of Dance.
Taught for Clare Major at Red Hill.
Clare Major retired and Red Hill School was combined with Mt Martha School of Dance.
Additional Qualifications:
- Gained Diploma with the Royal Academy of Dance R.A.D.
- Gained Teachers certificate with the R.A.D.
- Gained Full Registration with the R.A.D after participating in theory and practical exams examined by external examiners
- Acrobatic Dance Association Basic and Intermediate training Certificate
- Completed St. Johns Ambulance First Aid Certificate and have updated certificates since
1990-Present
Mt Martha School of Dance has taught
R.A.D Graded Exams:
(Internationally Recognised Syllabus) Grade from Grade 1 – 8 (exams – 100% pass rate. )
R.A.D Vocational Examinations: Intermediate foundation, Intermediate Advanced foundation and Advance 1 students.
Jazz/Contemporary Dance: Syllabus devised and based on Vicki Buggs extensive training and R.A.D technical influence. Junior to Advance Levels.
2001-Present
Introduction of VCE Dance.
Introduced V.C.E Dance into the curriculum
All units offered ½ and ¾
During this time Students have received excellent results.
Many A+ results, Many Top 10 in State results and 1st Place in state twice and students selected to perform in “Top Class” (most outstanding achievers in the state).
